Introducing Theia: The intelligent entry point for omnichain data

Why Theia?

The crypto world is built on large and rapidly expanding blockchain data, which includes enormous knowledge and underlying opportunities. Chainbase continues to extract, record, and compile all of this data, summarizing it for downstream users. However, a fundamental and long-standing issue is that the massive hidden knowledge contained within crypto data cannot be efficiently structured using database and limited human efforts. Web3 users continue to face the issue challenge of easily accessing and interpreting this knowledge.

What is Theia?

Theia is an 8-billion-parameter model trained using Chainbase’s extensive on-chain data, fine-tuned to provide unparalleled performance. Theia aims to interpret tremendous on-chain dark knowledge to comprehensive intelligence for humans in a trustworthy fashion. It is achieved by distilling knowledge from both language models and Chainbase omnichain data network via model training. TheiaChat - the first chatbot we present, serves as a vital entry point for users to interact with the Chainbase Network Testnet. Through TheiaChat, users can easily access and utilize various resources and services within the Chainbase network.

How can we achieve it?

Chainbase is creating a Crypto World Model on the Chainbase omnichain data network. This Crypto World Model aims to translate massive on-chain dark information into comprehensive intelligence for humans in a trustworthy manner. Our model training extracts knowledge from both language models and the Chainbase omnichain data network, by leveraging a Decentralized Weight-Decomposed Low-Rank Adaptation ($$D^2ORA$$) that breaks down the large language model into a magnitude vector ($$M_c$$) and directional matrix ($$D_c$$) - multiplied together to generate a paramter matrix outlining all possiblities. Decentralized training ensures data confidentiality, model robustness, and result transparency. Crypto knowledge is condensed into a crypto-oriented matrix that is independent of LLM, allowing it to be augmented with future data or on-chain operations to become an all-around Web3 expert resource.

For each result, Theia provides a comprehensive reasoning chain, producing transparent and trustworthy results. It learns crypto patterns from vast on-chain and off-chain data, as well as causal reasoning. Theia comprises a powerful LLM parameter matrix that runs alongside the crypto-oriented parameter matrix. We use Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to connect Theia to the real-time omnichain data network and an Internet AI reader in order to deliver up-to-date intelligence with reliable arguments. Users can create task-specific AI models on it.

Moreover, utilizing community feedback and participation, Theia continuously enhances its capabilities through Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). This results in improved and optimized performance, making Theia more intelligent and precise in its service to users.
