We are thrilled to announce the completion of our $15 million Series A fundraising round, led by MPCi, with contributions from @FoliusVentures, @HashGlobal, @JSquare_co, @realMaskNetwork, @DFG__Official, and Bodl Ventures. This funding will be utilized to develop the next-generation omnichain data network and the first crypto-native AI model, aiming to achieve mass adoption and enhance the intelligence of the crypto world. Chainbase Prima Materia Testnet launched, developers can set up AVS nodes to participate in network development.
The test network provides a secure, efficient, and scalable Dapp development environment for developers worldwide. The Prima Materia test network simplifies the data processing process by being compatible with the Manuscript standard, improves the collaboration efficiency of data developers, supports large-scale data parallel processing, and significantly enhances network performance. Chainbase provides developers with comprehensive AVS Operator setting documents, tutorials, and community support. By setting up AVS nodes, developers can receive future token incentives.

Chainbase and Alibaba Cloud reached Strategic Partnership
Chainbase is now Alibaba Cloud's primary partner in the Web3 industry. By utilizing Alibaba Cloud's robust tools, Chainbase's goal is to strengthen the advancement of Web3 and AI technologies, unleashing the boundless possibilities of on-chain data.
This partnership is a major achievement in merging blockchain and cloud computing.
The collaboration has greatly improved scalability, and with Alibaba Cloud's worldwide cloud infrastructure, Web3 developers can expedite the creation of blockchain applications, maximizing the potential and usefulness of on-chain data.
Ton Ecosystem Raw Dataset Upgraded
Data from both masterchain and basechain are now included, which allows much richer insights for Ton Ecosystem developers.

Migration to SSV and Obol
We have completed the migration of existing Ethereum Validators to SSV and Obol. This move marks our commitment to Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), which we anticipate will be the future of Ethereum Staking. Through this migration, we will be able to enhance the reliability and security of our validators and provide our users with more efficient staking solutions.
Launch of Ethereum Eigenlayer Restaking
We have also officially launched Ethereum Eigenlayer restaking. This new business will enhance our staking products, and we expect to provide customers with higher APY while ensuring stability and security.

Chainbase Rebranding Month
In July, Chainbase completed a comprehensive rebranding. Over the past two years, we have attracted over 15,000 developers and formed partnerships with more than 8,000 players in the ecosystem, collectively processing over 500 billion data calls. We have transformed our data expertise into a 4-layer, dual-consensus data processing architecture to provide high-quality on-chain and off-chain data for the Open AGI economy.
Chainbase's unique 4-layer structure includes: Co-processor Layer, Execution Layer, Consensus Layer, and Data Accessible Layer. We will collaborate with Eigenlayer and Cosmos, enhancing the ecosystem's economic security through dual staking. Developers can easily process and extract on-chain data using the Manuscript data standard, while general users can gain insights through the Theia model.
To celebrate this rebranding, we launched the Chainbase Rebirth Month Campaign, which engaged 16.73K community members. Our community is now strong with over 26.3K members. Thank you for your support!
Chainbase Chat #1: Powering the Open AGI Economy with Decentralized Data
In July, we hosted the inaugural Chainbase Chat, featuring guests from JSquare, MPCi, and Chainbase, who discussed the future of decentralized data networks. Chainbase’s Ecosystem Lead Luki also shared the roadmap for the latter half of the year, highlighting the launch of the Chainbase mainnet and our strides towards full network decentralization.

2 Years Strong & 8,000+ Partners!
In July 2024, Chainbase formed exciting partnerships with AI and Web3 leaders, which sped up innovation to a whole new level. We are excited to work with Flock_io, which created the world's first decentralized AI arena to do more with Web3 native AI models. Our work with Optimism and Alt Layer creates the basis for a Superchain co-processor layer. This will power the AGI era with high-quality data creation centered on the community.
You can get the most out of Web3 AI models by combining Chainbase's high-quality on-chain data with DIN's expert pre-processing. We're also working together with DIN, the first modular AI-native data pre-processing layer. By combining AI-based intent with an omnichain data network, our partnership with Aperture Finance will change the way decentralized finance works.
There's more adventure to come! We're excited to work with PublicAI, a distributed AI network, to make task outsourcing easier by connecting businesses and people with workers around the world who can annotate data and do advanced AI research. Finally, our partnership with LayerEdge is a big deal for the Bitcoin ecosystem because we are the first infrastructure layer to offer native data settlement on Bitcoin through HMDA.

July was an exciting month for the Chainbase Ecosystem, marked by dynamic participation in key events such as the EthCC, CryptoCanal and EDCON. Our presence at these events not only strengthened existing partnerships but also opened doors for new collaborations in the AI and blockchain spaces.
During EthCC, we engaged deeply with the community by attending four AI panels and participating in a hands-on workshop at dAGI Hackathon This provided us with valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations in AI. The hackahton was a rewarding experience that provided a platform for engaging with developers and advancing AI narratives.
Switzerland, renowned for its beautiful landscapes and innovative spirit, has become a hub for crypto foundations. However, the local crypto community is still in its formative stages, with developers and innovators dispersed across the region. During our recent visit to Switzerland, Chainbase explored opportunities to connect with key players in the crypto ecosystem, including CryptoCanal, SwissDAO, and the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).

Chainbase Moderator Program
In mid-July, we launched the 1st Community Mod Program and received over 100 applications. After thorough screening and one-on-one interviews, we selected 6 Mods covering different time zones and 5 languages (English, Chinese, Indonesian, Russian, Hindi, etc.), aiming to better manage the Chainbase community users. In August, we will launch various Discord activities with rich incentives.
