This quarter has been a whirlwind of growth and exciting developments for Chainbase. We've seen a surge in community engagement, significant technical advancements, and strategic partnerships that solidify our position as a leader in Web3 data infrastructure. Let’s dive into the recap now!

💥 Series A Funding: Raised $15 million led by MPCi, with participation from Folius Ventures, Hash Global, JSquare, Mask Network, DFG, and Bodl Ventures.

💥 Wallets Connected: Over 30 million wallets participated in the Chainbase Genesis Campaign, demonstrating strong community interest.

💥 Active Testnet Users: Our vibrant testnet boasts over 1.2 million active wallets, including 1 million Theia SBT NFT holders.

💥 Social Media Following: We've built a strong online presence with over 405,000 followers across Twitter (280k+) and Discord (126k+).

💥 Developer Network: We're proud to have over 26,000 registered developers and see 8,000-10,000 active projects building on Chainbase every month.

We've transformed our data expertise into a 4-layer, dual-consensus data processing architecture to provide high-quality on-chain and off-chain data for the Open AGI economy.

Chainbase AVS is at the core of enhancing network security within the Execution Layer and is the first to implement standardized data schemas, unlocking blockchain data interoperability and AI trainability. Our commitment to security is further demonstrated by our testnet's top ranking on the Eigenlayer AVS leaderboard, with over 217,000 ETH staked and over 2,000 operators.

Theia, the world’s first crypto-native foundation model, is now open-source on HuggingFace. By leveraging efficient fine-tuning techniques like LoRA and advanced optimization methods, Theia excels in understanding and generating cryptocurrency-related content, outperforming mainstream models with lower perplexity and higher BERT scores.

TheiaChat (DEMO), the first user interaction feature, has been live for two months and supports Chainbase’s user onboarding with over 10 million interactions.

Manuscript is a comprehensive suite designed to streamline data access and processing within Chainbase. It acts as a bridge, connecting various data sources, services, and users.

Manuscript will construct a brand-new data ecosystem framework centered around the '4A Vision': Any Language, Any Method, Any Data, and Any Service. Beyond indexing capabilities like The Graph, Manuscript supports a broader range of applications, such as providing data for AI training or offering data in RAG Jsonline format for external language materials. Users can directly input data into large language models (LLMs) via Manuscript, consuming data through natural language. Furthermore, Manuscript allows for data integration into local or specific BI consumption ends, such as Snowflake, Power BI, and Looker, enabling data interoperability and tokenization.

Manuscript is set for an October launch.

In August, we launched the Chainbase Genesis (https://genesis.chainbase.com/) campaign, which invites community members to participate in the Chainbase data network by completing various tasks and earning $Zircon rewards.

The Chainbase Eco Boost series of tasks has also been launched in September. We will subsequently update and collaborate on ecosystem tasks with strategic partners such as Vana, IO.net, and Sahara AI.

So far, over 30M wallets have connected to Chainbase Genesis.

Our engineering team is laser-focused on optimizing the Chainbase Data Platform to reduce overall costs by 40%. Initiatives like implementing PolarDB, migrating Web3APIs, and restructuring will achieve these savings.

Currently, the Chainbase data platform supports over 80 public chains (L1/L2, EVM/non-EVM), outperforming competitors like The Graph (79 chains) and Dune (12 chains). The platform processes approximately 600 million queries per day, with a query volume exceeding 3,000 terabytes.

Chainbase Staking has partnered with Puffer Finance and SSV Network to launch a revolutionary Ethereum staking product. This product leverages SSV's Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) to provide secure, efficient, and high-yielding node validation services.

In July, we hosted the first Chainbase Chat with guests from JSquare, MPCi, and Chainbase, discussing the future of decentralized data networks. We outlined the Chainbase mainnet launch and our path toward full decentralization. In August, the second Chainbase Chat featured io.net, Near, Nesa, and Holoworld AI, exploring "The Future of AGI in Web3." We also shared details about the Prima Materia Testnet and its role in AGI development.

Launched in September, the Chainbase Ambassador Program is an initiative designed to discover, support, and empower community members eager to contribute to Chainbase’s growth. We received over 400 applications, and the results will be announced soon.

We’ve partnered with Google Cloud to bring you over 300 multi-chain datasets on Google Analytics. Now, developers, businesses, and institutions can query blockchain data using just SQL in BigQuery Studio.

We participated in ETHCC, KBW, ICP Chain Fusion, and Token2049 Singapore this year. These events have provided valuable opportunities to connect with developers, community members, and partners, discussing the future of AI and Web3 and exploring how to leverage high-quality data within this ecosystem.

One of the highlights was the From Data to Intelligence event co-hosted with Google Cloud, where we showcased the synergy between Chainbase’s data capabilities and Google Cloud’s infrastructure. Experts from Google Cloud also demonstrated how to retrieve data from Chainbase datasets using BigQuery on Google Analytics.

As we look ahead to the final quarter of 2024, we are focused on decentralizing our omnichain data network. We'll also continue to enhance Theia's capabilities and explore opportunities for consumer-facing crypto AI products. Additionally, we'll prioritize the development and adoption of Manuscript, empowering the community to unlock data value. Our goal is to strengthen partnerships, foster community and developer engagement, and create a unified vision for the Chainbase ecosystem.
